Transport and Customs

At the parent company at Izlake, along with organising transports, we also take care of the origins of our production - sales assortment, customs of shipping (in-house customs) and shipments by mail. We are an authorised economical subject (AEO). Our shipping is carried out into almost every country. Thereby, a significant emphasis is put on road transportation around Europe.

Transport

We fully take advantage of the "outsourcing" of transport. With a certain amount of carriers, we have concluded contracts (mainly those delivering to regular locations). With the remaining ones, we reach agreements along the way, based on demand. We evaluate carriers regularly, on an annual basis. The criteria can be found below:


 

We rank carriers into following groups based on the level at which they meet requirements: 

• A CARRIER is a carrier who, in the period of observation, meets quality as well as other requirements from the evaluation criteria.
• B CARRIER is the one who, for the most part, meets our requirements. Occasional problems that may appear are removed by the carrier systematically and in the agreed upon deadlines.
• C CARRIER meets quality requirements at a satisfactory level, we see weak points. The carrier is interested in cooperation and shows preparedness to progress up the ranks of carriers.
• D CARRIER does not meet requirements. Such a carrier consistently causes problems, the consequence of which are additional expenses.

Every carrier receives a ranking, based on which they prepare a suggestion for corrective and preventive measures, which are harmonised with the evaluator, as well as a schedule for implementation. Error removal must be guaranteed within a sensible time (in regards to how demanding the problem is).

Mail Shipments

Mail shipments are sent worldwide through business partners, with whom we have concluded contracts.
